Your Role As a Learning and Development Officer, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning. You will work closely with teams across the business to assess training needs, develop and deliver engaging learning programmes, and evaluate their impact to ensure our people have the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Identify training needs in collaboration with department leaders and subject matter experts. Design, develop, and implement impactful training programmes, workshops, and e-learning content. Ensure training meets regulatory, organisational, and legal requirements. Utilise best practices in instructional design and EDI principles to create inclusive and effective learning interventions. Assist with the management and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS). Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and data analysis. Promote and support apprenticeships and career development pathways. Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees. Provide coaching and guidance on professional development opportunities. What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have: CIPD Level 5 qualification in Learning & Development (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning programmes. Strong communication and presentation skills, confident in delivering training on soft skills, processes, and systems.
