Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity that expertly cares for over 6,000 acres of green space in Milton Keynes including river valleys, ancient woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas along the city’s grid roads.

Position
Permanent Contract: 37.5 hours per week - varied hours including some weekends and evenings, which will be an expectation for the role.
Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum
We are looking for an individual to join our team at Willen Lake to focus on the Marketing and Community Engagement for the site. This role will report into the Senior Operations Manager and will work closely with Willen Lake's Executive Director to support all Marketing requirements for the site. This role will collaborate with the Parks Trust's Marketing Department.
Role Key Objectives:
* To optimise Willen Lake’s digital channels using innovative content creation to support the commercial growth and business objectives of Willen Lake by reaching, growing and retaining the customer base.
* Help develop and deliver annual marketing and community engagement strategies.
* Build and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with community groups and organisations.
* Increase public awareness of Willen Lake, encouraging visits and enhancing its reputation through events and activities in the parks.
Requirements
* Good communicator and able to form strong partner working relationships with others.
* Experienced in using all social media platforms.
* Good understanding of all digital channels.
* Experience of community development.
* Experience setting up or running community events and social groups.
* Experience of working with marketing agencies.
* Understanding of CRM.
