The school has 139 pupils. The successful candidate will help safeguard pupils by working with professionals both inside and outside of St. Michael’s, building strong relationships with pupils and their families. We serve families from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds, the majority of pupils are of White British heritage with a high proportion of pupils identified as disadvantaged and therefore eligible for pupil premium funding. Twerton is an area of very significant deprivation in relation to national indicators and has a significantly higher than average percentage of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The pupils, staff and governors are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and dynamic team.
