Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to work with our client at their site in Devonport on a contract basis. The rate is negotiable based on experience, seniority, etc. The initial duration will be for 6 months, but this could be extended.
Candidates will ideally have worked in the civil engineering, aerospace, defence or wider engineering industries.
Responsibilities:
* Working with Design Authority to develop fit-for-purpose processes
* Facilitating internal audits (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
* Weekly progress reporting
* Processing Lot 3 demands
* Investigating and developing the use of Power BI for reporting Government Furnished Equipment
* Assisting in the development of the document hub
* Collaborating with waterfront Design Authorities to create maintenance schedules
* Researching new methods for maintenance, repair, and refurbishment
* Supporting the development of the Primavera P6 planning tool (pending a query on the required expertise level)
* Enhancing efficiencies in handling Portable Submarine Support Equipment
* Continuous improvement activities, including benchmarking and 5S
