Job Summary
Arrow, part of the Sonderwell Group, is currently recruiting Female Support Workers who are able and willing to drive in the UK to complement our existing teams providing support to adults with a variety of different diagnoses. The role involves providing person-centered and individualized support to individuals with a range of disabilities, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, acquired brain injury, sensory impairment, dementia, and drug/alcohol problems.
Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker with Arrow, you will be supporting individuals in areas such as comprehensive assessment and person-centered support planning, household tasks, social care, educational/vocational development, positive behavior development, and medication management. The role requires a full UK/EU driving license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle, as driving is a key component of the job. The successful candidate will receive free training, a refer a friend bonus, and various other benefits.

Responsibilities
Location – Plymouth, PL4 0EG Driver Required Salary - £11.44 per hour Days of work – Monday - Sunday Hours – Full Time. Areas of support provided include:
* Comprehensive assessment and person-centered support planning
* Household tasks: cooking, meal planning, housework, shopping, laundry, and budgeting
* Social care tasks: support with benefit payments, training in public transport use, development of social and recreational activities
* Educational/vocational development: support in adult education classes and supported employment placements
* Positive behavior development: reduction of self-harmful or socially inappropriate behaviors
* Medications management: supervision of self-administration of medications
We welcome applications from people with experience in care and support work but you do not need to have experience - we will provide you with all the training you need to complete this role. Due to the nature of this role, you need to have a full UK or EU driving license for insurance purposes. You do not necessarily need to have your own vehicle, but it is a requirement of this role to drive a manual vehicle.

Qualifications Essential
