Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Role Overview: As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of mechanical services projects, with a specific focus on plant room installations within the education sector and commercial office fit-outs. You will manage projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple mechanical projects simultaneously, ranging in value from £100k to £1M. Lead project teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and communication. Oversee all aspects of project planning, procurement, and delivery. Ensure projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Monitor and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Produce and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients. Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery. Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the MEP sector. Strong background in delivering plant room projects for the education sector and office fit-outs. Excellent knowledge of mechanical services, including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements. Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across Kent and surrounding areas. Desirable: HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification.
