Role Overview:
As a Sales Account Manager, your primary focus will be on expanding our B2B customer base and driving growth in this key area. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of businesses, including contractors, landowners, and industry stakeholders, ensuring that Suregreen remains at the forefront of sustainable landscaping solutions. This dynamic role involves both on-the-road client visits and office-based work, offering a balance between building relationships in person and strategising at the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* B2B Customer Development: Strategically build and expand relationships with business clients, identifying opportunities to offer tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
* Sales Growth: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, working towards meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets, with a focus on B2B accounts.
* Product Launch Leadership: Drive the launch and development of newly introduced products within the B2B sector, offering innovative solutions that align with industry demands.
* Strategic Sales: Employ creative and strategic sales tactics, adapting techniques based on market insights and customer interactions.
* Client Engagement: Conduct site visits to collaborate with clients on tailored solutions, maintaining margin potential while delivering exceptional service.
* Market Intelligence: Perform incisive and insightful market research to keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
* Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new developments to maintain Suregreen’s competitive edge.
What We're Looking For:
* B2B Sales Experience: 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales within the forestry, fencing, landscaping, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop strong client relationships.
* CRM Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms is highly valued.
* Analytical and Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyse business opportunities, read situations well, and develop strategic solutions.
* Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of the forestry, fencing and landscaping sectors is a plus, but a strong passion for learning and growth is essential.
* Drive and Initiative: A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and contributing to Suregreen’s mission.
* Flexibility and Mobility: Willingness to travel to meet clients and manage time between office-based tasks and fieldwork.
