JOB PURPOSE:
To help create a friendly, welcoming, caring environment for customers, contributing to the smooth day to day operation of Live Active Blairgowrie.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Duties
Key Tasks
• You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the desired image of Live Active Blairgowrie through a welcoming, friendly approach to all customers
• To operate the point of sale till system in reception, issuing receipts for various activities
• To carry out cash handling duties, taking monies and giving change to customers for admission to the centre
• To receive and process credit cards and cheques
• To take bookings for the facilities and all classes within the Facility
• To sell items which are available for resale in the reception area
• To keep and maintain a stock control of resale items at reception
• To deal with enquiries from the public, both in person and on the telephone
• To provide information on programming and promotional events within the centre and Live Active Leisure
• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around the Facility at all times
Other
Key Tasks
• To assist with clerical duties as necessary
Health and Safety
Key Tasks
• To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all supplementary legislation
• To liaise with Live Active Leisure maintenance team and other agencies to ensure that the Centre provides a safe, quality environment at all times
Training
Key Tasks
• To attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in-house or externally
General
Key Tasks
• To ensure you are physically fit to carry out your duties at all times
• Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
• To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
