Hybrid - Mixed Tax Senior - Bolton

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services. Tax Senior Position Overview
* Compliance:
o Prepare and review tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and individuals.
o Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and maintain up-to-date records for HMRC submissions.
o Stay current with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws.
* Advisory:
o Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency.
o Advise clients on the tax implications of business transactions and financial decisions.
o Assist with business restructuring and provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
* General:
o Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients.
o Mentor and support junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities.
o Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including attending networking events and generating new client leads.
o Continuously seek opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client service delivery.
Tax Senior Position Requirements
* ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax. Will consider ATT or QBE.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mixed tax role within an accountancy practice. Will accept corporate or personal tax experience.
* Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
* Proven experience in providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
