We are looking for an experienced Band 6 mental health nurse for one of the Trusts in East Anglia. The trust offers a range of mental health services for adults, children, and older people, including community-based care, inpatient services, and crisis support. The trust also works closely with local communities, healthcare providers, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive support for those experiencing mental health challenges.
Description:
As a registered mental health nurse, you will be:
1. Managing and assessing risk as a significant part of your role, making robust decisions in collaboration with all systems.
2. Assessing young people, working with families and other supporting agencies to manage needs, holding a caseload, and undertaking duty.
3. Participating in regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice.
4. Engaging in team and individual development with access to a full induction program and extensive training and career development opportunities.
5. Committed to ensuring that the young person's care pathway is based on the biosocial model, with their voice heard and validated throughout their care.
6. Providing a warm, compassionate, and need-focused approach with service users, their families, and their network.
Experience:
7. Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability.
8. Demonstrated knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience.
9. Experience in effective risk assessment and risk management.
10. Experience in delivering clinical interventions.
11. Experience in working in a team delivering person-centered treatment packages.
