This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Hire and Sales Controller to join our team at Heathrow, supporting the branch in all areas of customer service and internal sales. Hire industry experience is essential for this role. This role involves customer service, hire transactions, and working collaboratively with the rest of the branch to achieve business objectives. You will be the first point of contact for customers via email and telephone, so exceptional customer service skills and a professional phone manner are essential. Key Responsibilities Be the primary point of contact for customers and respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries via email and telephone. Manage the hire process, ensuring that all rented equipment is properly documented. Answer queries related to the availability, pricing, and functionality of products for sale or hire. Oversee all aspects of product hire transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Monitor the condition, usage, and return of rental items and handle any issues related to rented equipment, such as repairs, replacements, or late returns. Manage the scheduling of transportation and delivery of rented items to customers, ensuring timely and efficient operations. Responsible for overseeing and managing the sales process for products or services. Identify new sales opportunities and work to close deals with clients. Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. Meet/exceed set sales targets and KPIs. Deliver daily objectives within strict deadlines. Work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing information and contributing to team goals. Undertake training on essential products, core offerings, and extended ranges. Perform additional duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the business.
