We have a post for a band 7 Senior Practitioner to work within our ND team at Tameside CAMHS working within a well established team supporting young people and families with ND disorders.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is up for a challenge, do you want to develop new ways of working, do you care about supporting families, children and young people with ADHD. You would be part of a specialist team who works across Tameside CAMHS.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an experienced qualified Nurse Practitioner/Non-Medical Prescriber who is able to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team facilitating effective assessment, diagnosing and prescribing and generating prescriptions for children and young people with ADHD using appropriate prescribing formularies and monitoring and reviewing such medication. You will manage your own caseload, providing a range of high quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and interventions.
You must be experienced in communication, due to the high level of liaison needed between CAMHS and other services and be willing to work flexible hours in accordance with the needs of the young people. This post is a clinical post and the expectation of time management is that the majority of time will be spent in face to face clinical practice.

1. RMN / RGN and Post qualification short courses and experience to master's level
2. Extensive practice in the field of ADHD including assessment, formulation and delivery of therapy.
3. NSF, wide knowledge of pharmacology in relation to ADHD.

5. ENB 603,or other post registration qualification relevant to CAMHS
