Job Summary The User Experience Designer will be instrumental in designing and enhancing user interfaces and experience of Airport and Airline Operations portfolio's products. This key role in the Airport & Airline Operations organization operates within the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and be an integral part of a feature team in the SAFe train participating in the design of the new product Amadeus Ramp Operations, with an expanded scope to enhance existing applications such as Flight Management, Baggage Reconciliation System etc. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customers, Product Management, Implementation, and Engineering, to understand user needs, business goals, and define UX objectives. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gap analyses to gather insights, validate design decisions, and assess business impact from functional and technical perspectives. Create and document wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and detailed screen design specifications for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency with Amadeus guidelines and industry standards. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and user testing into design iterations for continuous improvement. Stay updated on design trends, techniques, and technologies in the airline IT industry to drive innovation. Participate in strategic initiatives to launch new products and capabilities with a focus on user experience. Organize design workshops to ideate and prototype new product features. Evaluate product requirements, estimate specification and validation efforts, and document test cases and findings. Collaborate with development teams to evaluate requirements, anticipate risks, and create contingency plans. Conduct user acceptance testing and usability evaluations to ensure product readiness. Identify opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality through better design and implementation practices. Develop a deep understanding of the airline, airport, and travel industry, scaling domain knowledge as needed. Experience in Flight/Ramp operations software is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Proven experience as a UX/UI designer, preferably in the airline or travel industry. Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and design process. Proficiency in design tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
