FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Sourcing Manager to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is an initial a 6-month contract with the potential to extend. This role is hybrid and you will be expected to be on site 2 days per week in either Northampton or Glasgow. This role is within the HR, Professional Services and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Sourcing team, and our client is looking for a candidate who has experience in the Non-IT category to support areas listed above, but with a particular emphasis on the HR and/or BPO) categories where there is a current and planned high demand for support. Responsibilities Responsible for shaping and executing deals across the Category Focus on the sourcing of Non-IT services across the organisation (particular emphasis on HR and/or BPO categories), supporting the Category Manager and independently leading projects with businesses and functions Managing commercial deals in excess of £2b annually Work collaboratively and strategically with the internal teams sitting within Procurement, Legal and SME functions, including External Suppliers, to deliver a consistently high-quality product, service and minimise risk and cost to the client Provide category knowledge and sourcing support to manage commercial negotiations with third parties, liaise with key business users to ensure favourable commercial terms which mitigate business risk Ensuring end to end sourcing cycle visibility, creating line of sight on demand, cost, service and risk Support the Sourcing team with the day-to-day management of key stakeholders and executing deals according to policy and agreed timelines Management of end-to-end sourcing events including RFX, auctions, commercial negotiations with relevant suppliers as appropriate in conjunction with the Legal support teams to ensure consistently excellent and favourable commercial terms which always mitigate business risk Requirements Demonstrable experience in Sourcing Management and/or procurement Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to successfully negotiate terms and agreements in high value contracts Experience of building and maintaining a strong operational and strategic network with the category management teams to report, measure, and improve on deal execution capability Impeccable interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels Ideally holds qualifications in CIPS or CPM/CPSM/ISM Why join us?
