What the school offers its staff
At Brigg, we have a hugely committed and talented staff team and of course our wonderful children.
The needs of every one of our children is always paramount in the life and decision making within our school. We strongly believe in providing our children with exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences, which build their enthusiasm for learning and help them to grow and develop positively in a variety of ways. The family of our school is a warm and happy one; where determination, self-belief and respect for others are developed and grown, and where academic rigour is appropriate to the child’s abilities and their aspirations for the future are actively nurtured and explored.
Children are encouraged to take pride in their work, to work hard and to do the best they can at all times. High standards of behaviour and discipline are expected at this school so that children, parents and staff feel both safe and valued as individuals.
We believe it is crucial to involve our children and their families as partners in their education. We work to build a whole school community which thrives on mutual respect and values positive relationships.
