Tax Trust Manager or Senior Manager required to join a collaborative team which provides Tax Advisory services to start-ups and scale-ups, to private businesses and FTSE listed multinationals. Each of the clients you will work with, has different needs and in applying your expertise in different contexts, you'll develop your skills and gain valuable experience that will serve you throughout your client is looking for someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing their own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners to help businesses effectively.
The Private Client Services team offers a plethora of carefully tailored services to an equally varied range of clients - from UK and offshore Trusts, Charities and Estates, to entrepreneurs, entertainers and more. Their expertise helps to manage their global tax proactively and seamlessly.

You'll be supported to develop your career at pace and help others do the same, all while undertaking an exciting, varied workload for a broad range of clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Trust tax knowledge is essential as is a wide knowledge of personal taxation.
2. Act as a point of contact within the firm for the client together with the other senior staff.
3. Deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients including billings and cash collection within the firm's criteria but with a significant element of ad hoc consultancy work.
4. Pro-actively manage your own workload, provide overall support to Partners on client matters and assist Partners in the management of the group.
5. Recognise business and sales opportunities and progress these forward with other senior staff. A strong appetite for growing the portfolio and team is required.
To be successful you will have
6. Experience providing trust, estate and charity advice to high net worth individuals
7. Proven specialist technical private client experience, and the ability to deal with complex tax issues, gained within a practice environment
8. Experience of reviewing Trust accounts and associated tax accounting aspects (eg computing tax pools)
9. Experience of dealing with HNW clients
10. Some experience of and an appetite for seeking opportunities for developing new clients and for selling new services to existing clients
11. Staff management experience
12. CTA and/or STEP qualified
