Due to an increase in work and upcoming frameworks and project wins, our client has several vacancies available for Site Agents and Sub Agents working within their Railway civil and structural engineering division.
You would be working within a well established team on a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure positions such as bridge refurbishment schemes, renewals, embankment schemes, station upgrades
You will be directly responsible for the daily management of construction/civil engineering activities. Day to Day responsibilities will include Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
Liaison with site staff and managing surveyor to ensure tender allowances are not exceeded.
The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
Ensuring that in conjunction with the site team changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed.
The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Contracts Manager.
Candidates will have previous experience of working within a similar role, SMSTS, PTS and ideally hold a HND/Degree in civil engineering or a related subject.
