Peartree1 are looking for Community Care workers at our Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire Branch and have many positions available immediately in all areas. Whether you're an experienced Care worker or have no experience at all, we'd love to hear from you!
Full time, part time, weekend shifts, flexible shifts, long days, waking nights and sleep in positions are available for this role.
We currently have clinical roles for senior carers to work alongside our Nursing Team and our Homecare team in Domiciliary, Brain Injury, Mental Health Services and Supported Living Services

You will be expected give all service user Consent and carry our care plan updates and provide the nurse assessor with information including the registered manager,
Maintaining a safe environment: The Health and Safety at work Act 1974:
· You will be expected to attend train the trainer courses to train the staff such as: PEOPLE MOVING AND HANDLING, MEDICATION, END OF LIFE, AUTISM ETC
· You will be expected to be in the company platforms
· You will be expected to travel across the company Service users
· Follow care as per Mental Capacity Act UK
· Identify Hazards: Moving and Handling possible hazard
· Decide who may be harmed and how: The service user and the caregivers.
· Use of wrong people moving and handling techniques.
· Assess the risks and take action: Moving and handling equipment, trained staff to be sent in.
· Make a record of the findings: Equipment, to be safety checked before every use.
· Review the Risk Assessment: on daily basis
· The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and Manual Handling regulations 1992.
· You will be expected to be on an on-call rota to routinely support and manage the team on weekends paid at an on-call incentive.
· You will be expected to manage the shift if in supported living ensuring mediations are ordered and liaise with the Nurse assessor or field manager.
· You will be expected to respond to emergencies, as a care Provider we are 24/7 and at times you maybe called in an emergency in our Brain Injury supported living accommodation.
Personal care is one of our CQC regulated Domains: you will be expected to carry out a Holistic Assessments for all our service users/ patients:
Washing and Dressing:
Providing all elements of oral care, personal care, support & assistance to clients, from supporting with personal hygiene to companionship.
Eating and Drinking
Menu preparation
Healthy food and balanced diet, assist with helping them shopping for food, giving them a choice
Prevent choking and support Service users with feeding
Health and Welfare:
· Prompting and administering medication
· Household cleaning, follow Peartree1 cleaning chart
· Collecting medication from pharmacy
· Attending appointment with the Service user and MDT meetings
· Writing of letters, managing bills and attending benefits office
· Registering with the job centre
· Promoting community independence
· Bilingual preferred if from abroad due to the Equality and Diversity Culture in the UK
· Socialising and activities such as Disco, Mencap and recreation.
· Stimulate and support Service users, emotional support
· Record Keeping and Documentation
· Documenting all Care records
· Taking photographic evidence with consent
