Performance Improvement Lead – BioEnergy Location: CameronBridge, Leven Full-time, Permanent Contract 38Hours Onsite (Mon-Fri) End date to apply: 10th May CameronBridge BioEnergy Plant is critical in delivering our Society 2030 goals with respect to water re-use and carbon reduction. As a member of the CameronBridge BioEnergy plant leadership team, the Performance Improvement Lead will be key to driving the productivity, performance improvement and CapEx programs across the BioEnergy site. About the Role: As a performance-focused leader, you will work in close partnership with Leadership Teams and Operations Managers to drive key initiatives that improve business performance across health & safety, compliance, production, financials, asset care, and continuous improvement. With joint accountability for site results, you'll push performance boundaries by maximising tools such as focus improvement (FI) Hopper, Loss and Waste analysis, and DMAIC to deliver impactful cost efficiencies aligned with business strategy. You’ll effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders and lead improvement projects across all levels of the organization. Using data analytics and internal/external insights, you’ll coach multidisciplinary teams—including Business Leaders, Operators, Improvement Tasks Force (ITFs), and Maintenance Technicians—on troubleshooting and Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) practices. Additionally, you will lead CapEx delivery to enhance asset performance and champion an integrated approach to continuous improvement at Tier1 and Tier2 levels. Key Accountabilities: Lead strategic improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology. (eg 5Why, FT-DMAIC, Yellow Belt, Green Belt etc) Manage the delivery of improvement projects, in partnership with Operations and Functional teams. Ensure that any improvements implemented are standardised and sustained within operations teams (sharing best practice). Leads loss & waste agenda provides data & performance insights and a clear strategy to prioritise improvements with Operations Managers and Business Leaders (BL’s). Engage with the Daily Operational and Weekly Team meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities. Provide mentorship, advice and support to BL’s, ITF’s and operational teams to drive effective and aligned implementation of manufacturing excellence practices. Owns, monitors and reports on performance improvement and practice progress across designated areas. Owns and facilitates T2 Short Interval Control Process – focusing on delivering World Class Standards of Process Control and Root Cause Problem Solving. In partnership with BL, accountable for effective Contractor Management on site (Performance, Compliance etc.) Capex Project Support - URS development, Business Paper submission to deliver against CAPEX plan, key communication with contractors and project engineering on asset and process improvement projects. We would love to hear from you if you: Are a natural leader with a consistent track record of identifying opportunities, developing them into strong business cases, and successfully delivering and embedding change using effective project management techniques. Have experience working in a process environment, with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive organisational effectiveness and improved business performance. Have a solid track record of applying manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, setup time reduction, Lean Six Sigma, Reliability-Centered Maintenance, Fastrack DMAIC, and AM broad-plan. Can interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify loss, waste, cost-saving opportunities, and trends. Possess basic financial awareness, with an understanding of business drivers and budgeting processes. Are proficient in using standard business tools (MS Office), and relevant external platforms (SAP, Discoverer, Historian, etc.). Hold a professional qualification or have received advanced formal training, complemented by validated experience. Have a NEBOSH qualification.
