A leading law firm in Reading is currently looking to hire an exceptional Employment solicitor to add to their team. Hybrid working will also be an option. This role will require you to be 3-5+ PQE and depending on the candidate, the firm is offering the role as a senior associate or partner. They are highly regarded as the leading firm in Reading, and this would be a great opportunity for an already established associate/senior associate to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities Include:
* Manage a busy and challenging caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters for clients, with support from colleagues.
* Handle clients’ cases in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Maintain the highest professional standards in line with the firm’s objectives and adhere to the firm’s quality standards.
* Keep clients fully informed about the range of services the firm offers.
* Participate in business development and networking activities.
* Assist the Departmental Manager in supporting and mentoring junior team members.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a 2.1 degree and possess extensive Employment Law experience from a recognized and respected firm.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
* Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Be a reputable team player.
* Have experience in mentoring junior team members and a passion for contributing to the growth of the team and firm through business development initiatives.
