About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Health & Social Care lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, role-play, and practical demonstrations, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for BTEC and other relevant Health & Social Care qualifications, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Health & Social Care curriculum and resources, reflecting current industry practices and community needs. Foster a passion for care and social responsibility in students, encouraging them to develop their empathy, communication, and practical skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to health and social care. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Health & Social Care. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5. Experience in preparing students for BTEC and other relevant qualifications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
