If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and help drive change in the automotive industry, we’d love to hear from you As the Head of Regional Sales you will lead and manage the regional sales team in achieving sales targets, maintaining strong dealer relationships, and supporting the Sales Director to deliver the strategy. About the role Reporting into Sales Director the main responsibilities include: Sales Target Achievement and Strategy Execution : Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and implement regional sales strategies, monitor performance, and ensure annual targets are met. Dealer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, offering support to improve operational efficiency and sales effectiveness. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the regional sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth. Set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members. Process Implementation and Compliance : Standardise retail management processes, including customer satisfaction, sales tracking, inventory management, and risk control, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Market Analysis and Recommendations : Conduct regular competitive analysis of the UK market, providing actionable insights to enhance sales policies, incentives, and strategies. Training and Sales Director Support : Support training programmes to improve dealership staff performance and assist the Sales Director with daily operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder communication. Experience to succeed Supporting the Sales Director and working with Regional Sales team, Local Dealerships and Internal teams to be successful in this role we are looking for: Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with colleagues and maintaining productive relationships with dealers. Proven experience in managing sales teams, with at least 7 years in automotive sales and retail management, ideally within dealer groups or automotive brand organisations. Market awareness, customer-centric approach, innovative mindset, and a resilient attitude towards challenges. Experience and understanding of the automotive industry ecosystem and dealership operations. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, International Business or a related field.
