Working Hours: 09:30 - 13:30, Monday to Friday, term time only
Salary: £10,000 - £11,000 per annum (actual)

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in South Brent, looking for a passionate and creative Chef to bring nutritious, home-cooked meals to students. Food plays a vital role in wellbeing and learning, and this is your chance to make a real impact in an educational setting.
About the Role:
As a Chef, you will be at the heart of the school community, preparing wholesome, balanced meals for 20 - 30 students while creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Menu Planning & Meal Preparation - Create nutritious, cost-effective meals within a set budget
* Catering for Dietary Needs - Adapt menus for allergies and specific dietary requirements
* Stock Control & Ordering - Manage ingredients and oversee stock levels
* Food Safety & Hygiene - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow food safety regulations
* Health & Safety Compliance - Complete records, risk assessments, and adhere to safeguarding policies
* Student Engagement - Support students in learning basic cooking skills alongside teaching staff
