We are seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care and education to our pupils. Your Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and sensory impairments. Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised education plans (IEPs) tailored to individual pupil needs. Use your expertise to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour effectively. Support students in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. What Were Looking For We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who has: Extensive previous experience working in an SEN school or supporting children with complex needs. A Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 3) or equivalent. A strong understanding of strategies to support children with Autism, ADHD, sensory needs, and behavioural challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. A proactive and patient approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. Eligibility Requirements To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or be willing to process a new one). Provide two professional references, preferably related to SEN support. Have up-to-date Safeguarding training (training can be provided if necessary).
