Are you a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics eager to challenge and support bright students? We are seeking a dedicated individual, including ECTs, to join our high-achieving Mathematics department in a selective grammar school in Hillingdon.

About the Maths Department:
The Maths department is a dynamic and collaborative team with a shared passion for fostering a deep understanding of mathematics in our students. We offer a rigorous and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of mathematical topics, from algebra and geometry to calculus and statistics. We encourage students to develop their problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and mathematical fluency through a variety of engaging and challenging activities.
About the Role:
* Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at GCSE and A Level depending on experience and interest.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to make excellent progress in Mathematics.
* Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including interactive whiteboards, technology, manipulatives, and real-world applications, to bring Mathematics to life for students and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
* Assess student progress, set challenging targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys and stretch the most able students.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Mathematics curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
* Foster a love of Mathematics in students, encouraging them to explore the beauty and power of mathematics in the world around them, participate in maths clubs and competitions, and consider further studies or careers in STEM fields.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Mathematics education.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Mathematics and a commitment to student success.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for Mathematics and relevant examination specifications.
* Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
