An extremely busy, fast-paced, exciting, and diverse area of the Wasserman Live business, we deliver throughout the UK, Europe and for clients across the globe. The role of Associate Director is to provide comprehensive client and event management, support and direction to both client and the wider client services team. This specific role is responsible for the management and coordination of all event operational activity, delivery and client relationship management for our long standing European football client. Travel to both our clients head office and multiple competition matches across Europe will be expected as well as working as part of the wider client services team at our Orpington head office. The job role will include tasks and responsibilities such as: Central senior day to day contact for our client and overall management of key annual events across the account. Creation of project and event programs, developing successful delivery strategies based on event dates and scope, including detailed advance planning for complex logistical requirements. Providing clear and timely internal communications, working with Wasserman Live Studio, Production and Logistics Teams to ensure detailed event planning, as well as coordination and management of on-site installation teams. Communicating and managing program deadlines, budgets, and project progress reporting with clients, ensuring key dates are met and client expectations are continuously managed and exceeded. Understand, develop, and manage the client's objectives, priorities and tournament expectations as well as seeking new additional scope opportunities to grow our offering to the client. Provide line management and direction to team members assisting in the delivery of projects, ensuring all client and Wasserman Live requirements are completed to the highest standards and team members are supported and developed. Ensuring Wasserman Live and client Health and Safety processes are adhered to, promoting best practice across all events. Working with the Wasserman Live H&S Manager to ensure documentation is correct, continuously reviewed and updated. Ensuring contract terms are understood, monitored, and met, and your wider account team continues to deliver a high- quality service against agreed contract KPIs. Building strong, trusted, and long-lasting relationships, providing strategic advice to clients leading to development of existing revenue streams and ongoing contract renewal. Senior oversight and day-to-day financial control of event and contract pricing, client budgets and approvals, margin review and control, as well as monitoring timely payment schedules to ensure that invoicing and payments are completed in a timely manner. Proactively drive Wasserman Live's sustainability policy with clients, finding innovative ways to align our goals with that of our clients using more environmentally friendly products, processes, and delivery strategies. THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED : Strong project management experience across event planning and delivery, as well as challenging timeframes with the client where needed. Collaborative and clear approach to commercial development and communication. Exceptional in relationship management and diplomacy, including negotiating with and influencing decision making. Highly effective in building and writing presentations. Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously, prioritising and delegating where required, while ensuring continuous attention-to-detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills, ensuring project systems and procedures are setup and structure correctly. Ability to think on your feet, evaluate risks and take decision to resolve issues, demonstrating critical thinking skills. Confident taking the financial lead on projects and client accounts, managing budgets and cost control. Promoting collaboration and cooperation across our business. Comfortable working with and managing groups of cross-functional teams, some of whom may work remotely or across other territories. Desire to work in an environment where co-workers challenge each other's thinking to produce a better product for clients. Entrepreneurial, analytical, strategic, and creatively inquisitive.
