Job summary The successful applicant will provide a visible clinical profile with management, advisory, leadership and operational oversight under the direction of the Clinical Manager into the delivery of the Vaccination and Living Well service. Support with supervision of team members by working clinically 50% of the time to model excellence in standards of care. To work collaboratively and autonomously, when required, to support the induction, training and ongoing development of the Vaccination and Living Well clinical staff. Maintain and monitor records of compliance with mandatory and service specific training. To deputise for the Clinical Manager and Operational Manager as required at external meetings such as with commissioners, ICB and NHSE To identify and address unwarranted variations in care and implement procedures/checks to ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained at all times. The role will change to meet the needs of the Service as it develops, and the post holder will need to be flexible in adapting to new areas of working as and when required. The post holder will be required to be flexible with shift patterns, including weekends, to meet the needs of the Service and must be flexible with travel away from the main hub.
