Fixed term/Secondment Contract up until 11/06/2026
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist to lead, develop and operationally manage a dynamic, community Physiotherapy team based in Inverness.
You will have responsibility for the continued development of the service and managing the physiotherapy staff. This role will be supported operationally and professionally by an Integrated Team Manager and the North Highland Physiotherapy professional lead, as well as part of a peer network of other physiotherapy NHSH leaders.
Upon commencing this role, you will be provided the opportunity to have coaching and leadership mentoring to expand your own existing leadership skills, alongside regular support from physiotherapy professional lead and other physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy colleagues. You will be expected to take a lead on ensuring service development, education and training needs, supervision of the physiotherapy team and students, including yourself.
You will also work closely and strategically with other services in Highland Health and social care Partnerships (HHSCP), and Acute Services. This can include teams of other professionals such as other allied health professionals, nursing, and medical staff. The job role will be split approximately 40% clinical and 60% management and leadership time, depending on needs of service. Applicants should be an experienced community physiotherapist and be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical care.
Job share or part time will be considered.
