Job Role:
* Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach construction.
* Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and creative lessons that inspire students.
* Making full use of the school’s modern workshop facilities and extensive DT resources.
* Encouraging students to develop practical skills in woodwork, metalwork, resistant materials, CAD/CAM, and product design.
* Supporting students with GCSE coursework, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Working within a collaborative DT department, sharing best practices and ideas.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching DT in a secondary school setting.
* A passion for practical, hands-on learning and innovation in teaching.
* Strong classroom management skills with a focus on student engagement.
* The ability to work effectively within a high-performing team.
