Job summary Opportunity to join a small productive Procurement team purchasing essential goods and services for staff and patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The role includes working within the Trust processes and systems to procure clinical and non-clinical products at the best possible best value. Main duties of the job Responsible for processing purchase requisitions, extensive communication with internal customers and external suppliers in order to provide a comprehensive procurement service responsive to service needs and of a high standard. Support other members of the Procurement team in obtaining maximum possible benefits from contracts, expenditure against goods and services, seeking `best value`, reliability, responsiveness and innovation from the procurement service. Support the purchase to pay processes enabling the timely payment of invoices. Inclusive of supporting requisitioners so invoices are receipted and validated for payment.
