As an Associate Commercial Director, you'll be responsible for:
Supporting the growth of the business and leading the delivery of commercial services including the setting up and managing cost plans. Projects across a varied portfolio including the major infrastructure for new towns and settlements.
This will include:
1. Assessing financial, technical and operational risks
2. Reviewing expenditure during all phases of a project
3. Analysing data that can affect costs
4. Working with CAD
5. Taking measurements on CostX
6. Providing a holistic plan including measuring and rates
Managing, estimating, and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan. Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed. Being a key interface with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants at all project stages. Handling contractual frameworks and standard forms of contract. Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, products, and hence improve the services provided to clients. Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.
Must haves:
1. Consultancy experience, including cost planning, budgeting, and estimating
2. Thought-leader in the space
3. Confidence in managing client relationships
