With over 50 years' experience, Monarch Water is the UK's market leader in the distribution of water softeners. Situated in Diss, we have a full production and R&D facility alongside our head office. We are currently seeking a Water Softener Engineer to service water softeners in residential and commercial properties specifically in the London and South East regions. Our customer-centric approach ensures that we provide world-class customer service, and we are looking for individuals who share this commitment. As a Water Softener Engineer, you will possess excellent customer service and communication skills. You will enjoy diagnosing faults (both electrical and mechanical) and will have the capability to problem-solve and follow through to discover effective solutions. The Role: Diagnosing faults, maintaining, and repairing a range of water softeners and associated products in customers' homes and businesses. Deliver high levels of customer service. Managing parts stock use and replenishment. Achieving an industry-leading first-time fix rate. Managing daily workload efficiently. Completing company documentation as required, including service reports and quotes. Ensuring payment details are taken before leaving the customer’s property. Following company Health and Safety procedures. Maintaining a well-kept company vehicle in accordance with company policies. Collaborating as part of a high-performing team while also having the ability to work independently. Requirements Skills Required Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Proficient in fault finding on both electrical and mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new products. Open to innovative approaches to working, embracing new technologies and practices. Organized, disciplined, and reliable. Willingness to travel across the London and South East regions.
