JOB TITLE: Payroll Operations Administrator - 12 month FTC
SALARY: £30,400 - £37,000

WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Payroll Operations Administrator, you will play a key part in processing the payroll operations for the UK monthly and weekly payrolls for circa 30,000 employees. You will also be working collaboratively with the team and assisting with projects. Reporting to the Payroll Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for compliance with UK legislation and JLR policies and assisting in driving forward change and efficiencies to support business strategies.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Delivering accurate and compliant payroll processing for a variety of complex terms, conditions, and shift patterns
* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls as part of a large payroll team, ensuring successful BACS submissions and deadlines are met
* Supporting and participating in the payroll alignment strategy and completing objectives
* Completing monthly RTI submissions and performing manual payroll and pension calculations; processing ‘Early Year Updates’, when applicable, and completing monthly PAYE
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvements to payroll
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* Have a thorough understanding of all aspects of payroll and experience of working in a large multi-site payroll department
* Experience of all ‘year-end’ requirements
* Excellent customer service and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Team player
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
