An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time School Nurse at the Perse School. The Medical Centre provides first aid and emergency care and treatment, health care and support to all members of the school community.

The purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of service within NMC guidelines to pupils, members of staff, and any visitors while on the school site, as well as providing a health advice service as appropriate and managing pupils with chronic medical conditions. Medical cover for weekday and Saturday sporting fixtures is also provided by the School Nurses and Casual School Nurses.
The School Nurses work closely with the Assistant Head (pupil welfare), the School’s counsellors, and the Section Heads who oversee the three pastoral units within the School (Lower School, Middle School and Sixth Form). The Nurses also work with the Head of Personal Social and Health Education to advise on health education issues.
The salary quoted is pro rata from the FTE of £43,482 based on the number of hours and weeks worked.
