Your Role as Children & Young People's Manager in Pontypool:
1. Lead a team of specialist support workers delivering vital services.
2. Ensure children and young people in Pontypool and Gwent receive trauma-informed, person-centred support.
3. Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and compliance.
4. Develop partnerships with funders and charities to grow the service.
5. Manage budgets, reports, and strategic service improvements.
What You Need to Be a Great Children & Young People's Manager:
1. Experience managing services for children and young people, ideally in social care, education, or domestic abuse support.
2. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
3. Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and trauma-informed practice.
4. A passion for creating safe, supportive spaces for children and young people.
5. Driving licence and access to a car required.
