• Provision of middle grade support to OMF consultants.
• Shared role in delivery of teaching & training to junior doctors & non-medical staff.
• Active participation in Clinical Governance, audit & research activities of these services.
• Assisting in administrative tasks of these services.
• Keeping up to date & participating in CME & CPD.
• Participation in annual appraisals & job planning.
• To provide, OMF Services for Derby & surrounding areas, with Consultant colleagues, with responsibility for diagnosis & treatment of patients & the proper functioning of the Services at middle grade level.
• To have responsibility for the continuing care & treatment of patients & personal performance of clinical duties
• To take an active part in undergraduate education & teaching of staff in training, & the multidisciplinary team as agreed.
• To comply with personal continuing medical education activity & continuing professional development as appropriate.
• To participate in & assist in clinical audit, the Trust’s Clinical Governance Processes, appraisal & in Continuing Professional Development.

• To perform any other duties within the doctor’s clinical competence or managerial skills which support the efficient working of the Directorate or Trust services.
