Job Title: SEMH Support Assistant
Salary/Rate: £92-£105 per day
Location: Stockport

We are working with a large Secondary School in the Stockport area who have an immediate requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health). You will assist the pupil throughout the school day to various lessons. It is essential that you are able to build relationships with pupils from different backgrounds and with different requirements.
Essentials:
1. Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
2. Have previous experience working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
3. Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
4. Have at least 6 months school-based experience of working in a UK Secondary school setting
5. Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
6. Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
