Package Manager for Offshore Wind Farm - Structural Engineering
The Package Manager role includes overseeing the Engineering Manager, as well as Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Commissioning, Health and Safety, Installation, Consenting, Operations, and Maintenance.
Responsibilities:
1. EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Installation) Tender Review, and the contractual negotiations which follow.
2. Coordinate all the Technical teams covering all of these roles.
3. Oversee the foundations package for large offshore wind farms.
4. Lead package design basis issue and contribute to project design basis.
5. Identify key technical points for package delivery.
6. Settlement of engineering processes and planning.
7. Manage the engineering process and scope delivery.
8. Lead the technical disciplines contributing to the Package and key stakeholders (e.g., certification authorities).
9. Manage technical package issues.
10. Conduct technical evaluation of tenders.
11. Contribute to bidder's preselection, clarification till contract award.
12. Carry out design & risk reviews.
13. Evaluate Tenders and contractors from a technical point of view.
Experience:
1. Degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering.
2. 5-10 years of experience in the offshore engineering sector.
3. Experience of managing engineering teams and engineering consultants.
4. EPCM: Experience negotiating EPCI contracts or managing EPCI contracts is desirable.
5. Advantage to have: geotechnics, structures, dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundation dynamics.
