Interim Valuation and Asset Management Senior Surveyor
Contract Length: 2 months
Location: Warrington (Hybrid working)
Pay Rate: Up to £50 per hour PAYE + c15% accrued holiday + pension contribution (this rate is currently provisional). You will be paid an hour PAYE for the length of the contract
Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, normal working hours

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Surveyor to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in the development of the Council’s Asset Management Plan, ensuring the effective and efficient management of our property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the comprehensive review of the Council’s land and property portfolio to align with strategic objectives and implement the outcomes of the review.
2. Work closely with clients and services to understand their accommodation and resource needs.
3. Collaborate with other services and partners to develop plans that enhance property utilisation, efficiency, and effectiveness.
4. Manage projects from inception to delivery, including reviewing asset use by internal and external clients.
5. Provide professional valuation and property management services, including the disposal and acquisition of land and property, statutory valuations, and compulsory purchase orders (CPO).
6. Support joint working and partnership arrangements with internal and external agencies.
7. Attend meetings outside of normal office hours when required.
About You
1. The ideal candidate will have:
2. Experience in asset management, property management, or a related field.
3. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects from planning to completion.
4. Knowledge of property valuation, acquisitions, disposals, and relevant legislation.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
6. A proactive and strategic approach to property and asset management.
