We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, sensitive, forward-thinking midwife with a broad range of experience to become our Head of Midwifery at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The Postholder will be an exceptional leader with in-depth knowledge of governance and assurance mechanisms, operational management experience of maternity services both in the community and the hospital and will inspire confidence and innovation amongst our incredible workforce who together, ensure the women/birthing people and staff are safe, cared for and listened to.
The postholder will work collaboratively with the maternity matron, maternity managers, Consultant Midwife, service managers, governance and education teams to provide seamless pathways of care and ensure a positive safety and team culture.

As an empowering visible leader, you will be accountable in providing excellent professional and clinical leadership within maternity services. The Head of Midwifery will lead and develop midwifery and maternity programs and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, personalised care that is responsive to feedback from women and birthing people.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services.
