An exciting opportunity has arisen on Lanyon Stroke Unit, we are a 22 bedded unit providing stroke rehabilitation to our community. Plan to decant to a new build Stroke Unit onsite early next year. Main duties of the job
1. To work as a skilled member of the nursing team.
2. To provide a high standard of compassionate patient centred care.
3. To lead and supervise the work of unqualified staff within the team.
4. To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
5. To be able to take charge of the ward in the absence of senior nursing staff, as deemed appropriate by the Ward Manager or Matron.

Qualifications
* Current professional registration - NMC
Skills and Aptitude
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Able to demonstrate accuracy in simple and complex drug calculation
* Willingness to undertake all relevant mandatory training

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year. Per Annum / Pro Rata
