We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic C afé Supervisor to lead our on-site café team. You'll have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the daily life of our vibrant school community, ensuring that our café provides high-quality service and a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

What you do :
* Monitor and maintain food standards to meet client and Sodexo expectations, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Safeguard guidelines.
* Support brand management, internal promotions, and the supervision of food preparation and service to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Oversee cash handling, stock management, and accurate stocktaking while assisting with supply ordering and banking.
* Ensure all food is served with attention to customer dietary requirements, conducting pre-service briefings to include all service elements.
* Supervise the hygienic cleaning of service and dining areas, implementing and reviewing cleaning schedules to meet health and safety standards.
* Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents and ensure the workspace remains safe, clean, and functional.
* Supervise and train staff on Health and Food Safety, providing feedback and ensuring observed competency checks.
* Foster effective communication through team meetings, safety moments, and regular feedback, promoting a friendly and collaborative workplace.
* Role model supervisory behaviours, holding oneself and the team accountable for performance and professional standards.
* Embrace innovation, seek business improvement opportunities, and undertake occasional duties outside the routine scope.
What you bring :

* Experience of supervising a small team
* Barista experience
* Able to successfully implement changes.
* Knowledge of working in educational establishments
* Hold a personal driving license.
* Knowledge of current changing market trends
