Salary details: £27,256.00 to £33,619.00 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

About the role
As an HRBP, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our managers with day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing employee relations, overseeing absence management, leading recruitment efforts, and ensuring smooth onboarding and off boarding processes.
You will also collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing and contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes and enhancing the employee experience.

About you
Education/Qualification
* Chartered Member of Institute of Personnel and Development
* First Degree or equivalent
Knowledge
* A detailed practical knowledge of Employment Law and Good Employment Practices
* Computer literate
* Further Education or Local Government
* Unionised environments
* A good understanding of Equality and Diversity Legislation
* A good understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, Safeguarding children and Young People (Every Child Matters) and Vulnerable Adults.
Experience
* Service industry experience
* Education or local government experience
*Implementation of HR plans
* Professional involvement in at least one of : reward management, salary administration, performance management, employee relations HR administration
*Managerial/administrative involvement in change programmes and reorganisations
*Experience of advising in respect of disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings
*Experience of dealing with Employment Tribunals
*Experience of managing Payroll departments
