Salary: £27,164 - £31,942 pro rata, per annum (Grade D)
We are excited to announce we are now looking for two Funding Data Officers to join our dedicated Funding Data team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities
This key role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of student data across the college. The main responsibilities include working closely with curriculum areas to ensure that learner and course records are processed accurately and promptly, with data being cascaded to the ILR where applicable. You will also be responsible for updating the programme directory annually to accurately reflect the planned activities of the curriculum areas within your caseload. Additionally, you will manage the setup and maintenance of electronic timetables and registers throughout the year, while regularly performing data checks and corrections to ensure audit compliance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The essential qualifications for this role include GCSE English and Maths at grades A* to C (or 4 to 9), or equivalent qualifications such as Functional Skills Level 2, along with a Level 3 qualification in a related subject.
The successful candidates will have prior experience working in an educational environment and be proficient in using student records systems, preferably EBS, or have equivalent experience with large databases. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail are also essential. Additionally, it is desirable for candidates to have experience with enrolment processes, timetabling, an understanding of funding regulations, and a solid grasp of audit requirements and the necessary controls.
