Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Configuration Management team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Liverpool. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will be part of a collaborative global configuration management team who together manage an extensive inventory of over 70000 infrastructure and application configuration items.
Your responsibilities will include executing the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) in ServiceNow, developing dashboards, and promoting the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Playing a crucial role in ensuring that configuration items are accurately tracked, providing up-to-date and verified information on the status of service assets and infrastructure.
We will count on you to:
1. Work alongside the CMDB Team on day-day activities to manage the CMDB, educate clients as an SME and complete project lead tasks independently with minimal direction.
2. Educate on and execute CSDM into practice in ServiceNow.
3. Assist in the introduction of our service mapping & data certification roadmap for all significant business applications within the CMDB
4. Act as a project lead and SME for CMDB integrations, issues and improvements
What you need to have:
5. Proven experience in and understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
6. Experience using ServiceNow.
7. Comfortable with liaising and collaborating effectively with service delivery process areas.
8. Experience or awareness of hardware discovery tools.
9. Experience of Service Mapping capabilities is preferred
