We're recruiting for a Design Project Manager to join the George team. This role will work collaboratively with a team to manage large and complex design projects. Overseeing the production of project deliverables, this is an omni-channel role managing design outputs for online, in-store, email, packaging, and ATL, driving consistency throughout and acting as brand guardian to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, assign, and oversee all design projects across fashion, home, and GM for all channels including in-store, online, ATL campaigns, packaging, and any other ad hoc design requirements.
* Manage intake of all design briefs and briefing to agencies or freelancers, ensuring project completion within agreed-upon budgets and deadlines.
* Manage design budget, prepare comprehensive costing documents, and ensure all design POs are raised on time.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various budgets and timelines.
* Keep project team informed of key deliverables and progress updates.
* Collaborate with the Head of Creative to allocate design resources effectively and brief projects.
* Ensure all work is created to brand guidelines and act as brand guardian for the George brand.
* Provide RAG reports on all projects, updating on status weekly with the Head of Creative.
* Be the key contact for all design agencies and freelance designers.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience of working as a project manager.
* Substantial experience managing a creative department, owning traffic coordination and scheduling at scale for a fast-paced fashion retail brand.
* Detailed knowledge of creative agencies, freelance agencies, and account management.
* Adept at critical paths, project management, and RAG reports.
* Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* A stickler for detail and calm under pressure.
* Proven adaptability and flexibility in coping with rapidly changing circumstances.
* Excellent creative eye – fashion/home experience ideal.
* Good level of design skills – InDesign, Photoshop, Creative Suite.
* Experience with Projects and Outlook, Workfront preferred.
