We are looking for a highly organised customer-focused person who is able to give customers the best service possible. Experience in the logistics industry is preferred for this position along with a friendly personality as the main focus for this role is building and retaining strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
Key Duties and Accountabilities
* Be the first point of contact for all our key customers
* Monitor the website/sales inbox for any quotations needed and forwarding any collection requests to the collections team
* Monitor and manage all customer accounts to ensure excellent customer service, communication and guidance
* Check all freight due for delivery to see if anything showing an issue or may not be delivered on-time
* Create and circulate customer reports for Key customers
* Check the Pall-Ex Network RCR’s every morning ready to notify relevant personnel regarding damages, delays or service issues
* Chase and monitor consignment ETA's
* Create and distribute rates and pricing for all Cranleigh's services including local, national and International palletised freight distribution
* Support the Accounts departments with any customer invoice queries
* Answer phones and help with network deliveries if needed
Skills and Personal Attributes
* Previous experience in the logistics sector
* Excellent customer-facing skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* Highly organised, strong and influential communicator
* Natural ability and desire for problem-solving
* High level of literacy and numeracy
* Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office
