Press Brake Operator required to set and operate Brake Presses and Punch Press as well as other machines concerned with sheet metal production, our client is looking for someone to join their Fabrication Team at Telford site as they continue to grow. Shifts – Working Double Days Mon – Friday
As Brake Press Setter, day to day you will carry out the following:
Loading and checking programmes as per job sheet and selecting correct materials
Loading and unloading of parts into Amada Press brake
Working on Turret Punch Press as required
Quality Inspection of parts using equipment and gauges ensuring they have been folded within tolerance
Working from engineering drawings
Maintaining and cleaning equipment the equipment
Adhering to health and safety guidelines and regulations.
Related Skills
Previous experience of Press brake and or Punch Press
Previous experience of Amada machines would be beneficial
Ability to interpret and work to Engineering drawings
Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision.
Person Specification
You will have current or previous experience setting and operating Brake Press machines, job titles similar are brake press operator, press brake operator, punch press operator, punch press setter, turret punch press operator, sheet metal machine operator.
