Commissioning Engineer
Base salary of up to £40,000 + overtime + van/car + fuel card
Are you an experienced Commissioning Engineer / Commissioning Technician looking to take the next step in your career by joining a rapidly growing manufacturing and engineering organisation? Our client is well-established and is seeking a Commissioning Engineer / Commissioning Technician to be responsible for all aspects related to the Commissioning of gas and diesel engines and their ancillary equipment.
Job Description
1. Efficiently carry out all aspects of Commissioning on products, including all interfaces with third parties, as required by the specific project.
2. Observe and follow all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, regulations and requirements, and procedures as per the company handbook at all times.
3. Carry out all fault finding (local & remotely) on installations, ensuring that all problems are closed out to the required quality standard.
4. Ensure the correct, concise, and timely completion of all documentation relevant to the tasks to the expected quality standard and procedure.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
1. Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled
2. Must have one of the following: ONC/D, NVQ level II, or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent
3. A good understanding of switchgear, High Voltage or Low Voltage
4. Full, valid UK driving licence
