This role is designed to cover Geriatrics ward days for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and hospital needs. This role offers a vibrant and dynamic experience where you will be a key part of the General Internal Medicine (GIM) on-call rota. You will be delivering crucial support to patients in need, including full rota coverage with on-calls. This is a critical role that requires a high level of dedication and commitment to patient care. What will your responsibilities be? Your primary responsibilities will encompass working on Geriatrics ward days from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. During these regular hours, you will ensure thorough care is provided to all patients. Duties will include, but are not limited to, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions common in elderly patients, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care, and implementing care plans to enhance patient wellbeing. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in geriatric medicine to provide the best possible care to your patients.
